Vitalik Buterin's Memecoin Sales Stir the Crypto Market

Vitalik Buterin, co-founder of Ethereum, has recently made major moves in the cryptocurrency market by selling a variety of memecoins, earning a large sum of ETH in return.

In just a few hours, Buterin sold eight different memecoins, gathering a total of 651.6 ETH, which is worth about $1.62 million. Some of the tokens he sold include well-known ones like $MOODENG and $MSTR, as well as smaller tokens like $POPCAT, $FWOG, and $VITALIK. 

One notable transaction involved 10 billion $MOODENG, which earned him 395.95 ETH (roughly $982,000), and he also sold 200,000 $MSTR for 93.23 ETH (about $231,000).

In the last nine days, Buterin has earned 1,101 ETH, which equals around $2.78 million, from selling these memecoins. This strategy has allowed him to profit from the highly volatile memecoin market.

Buterin’s Impact and Donations

Buterin is not just focused on making money from selling memecoins—he is also giving back to the community. During this same period, he donated 360.16 ETH, valued at approximately $884,000, to different charitable causes. 

This shows his commitment to supporting social causes while still being active in the crypto world.
